On a whim I'm releasing this collection of some of my favorite Lee Hammons tunes. Maybe it's a message-in-a-bottle for strange days. In a normal summer this might be a repertoire session at a fiddle camp. These are the tunes I like to play first thing in the morning before the sun comes up, or late at night when I'm chatting with crickets. I've been recording these for the past year and impulsively decided to bundle them as an album for anyone who might enjoy it. It's posted here as free, but I selected "let fans pay more if they want" so that you have the option to give some of your unneeded millions of dollars... (and for at least $1, you can include it in your Bandcamp collection... I think paying something is a requirement for that). But honestly, I'd like you to have this for free. Any money you would give me, please use it to support a worthy cause, including professional artists.I'm not a professional musician but many of my friends are. Please help me support the arts!
